Canolight is a growing Canadian wholesale lighting company serving electrical distributors and professional lighting showrooms across Canada.
We are looking for a dependable, organized and hands-on Warehouse & Delivery Associate to support our warehouse operations and complete local deliveries throughout the GTA.
This position is ideal for someone who has previous warehouse and delivery-driving experience, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, label and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Receive incoming shipments and inspect, count and organize inventory.
- Load and unload products safely, including long lighting packages.
- Complete local GTA deliveries using a company vehicle.
- Plan productive delivery routes and maintain delivery documentation.
- Keep the warehouse and delivery vehicle clean, safe and organized.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory control.
- Support other warehouse duties as required.
Skills
- Requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Valid Ontario full G driver’s licence with Accident Record
- Clean driver’s abstract and safe driving record.
- Previous delivery-driving experience and confidence driving throughout the GTA.
- Previous warehouse experience, including receiving, picking, packing and inventory handling.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb / 23 kg and perform active, hands-on work throughout the day.
- Reliable and punctual with robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when dealing with customers.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification or previous forklift experience.
- Experience with inventory or order-management software.
- Familiarity with lighting, electrical or construction products.
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
