The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Journeyman CWB Welder with 5+ years experience in the fabrication of structural steel skids for our Nisku facility. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who can also work independently, is focused on safety, and who works well in an entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities

- Fabricate, layout structural steel skids and components
- Read, follow and interpret fabrication drawings, specifications, welding procedures
- Cut and cope beams by using plasma and oxy-acetylene torches
- Welding by using electric arc welding equipment
- Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship with focus on quality and accuracy
- Work safely and maintaining safety in facility; Follow and support safety program




- Performs other duties as required

Requirements Education & Training

- Journeyman Ticketed Red Seal Welder, CWB
- Carbon SMAW, FCAW/MCAW performance qualification

Experience & Skills

- Experience in supervisory roles an asset
- Strong verbal communication skills; Ability to read, interpret and comprehend written materials
- Safety-oriented; Valid First Aid ticket and other HSE-related tickets an asset

Additional Information

- This position is based in our office in Nisku, Alberta; preference will be given to candidates based in the Edmonton area
- Position will be working with a team of professionals and training in-house will be provided
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
