Position Overview

We're looking for a high-energy, sales-driven individual to join our floor team. This role is built for someone who can genuinely close a sale on high-ticket tools and equipment, isn't afraid of physical work, and is eager to learn paint tinting and spray equipment repair from day one — these are core daily responsibilities for every team member on the floor, not add-ons.

We're not looking for a finished product. We're looking for someone coachable, driven, and ready to grow into deeper technical and product expertise over time — including an eventual path toward greater store responsibility for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales of Benjamin Moore paint, Festool equipment, and paint sprayers — listening to customer needs and confidently closing on the right product
- Learn and perform paint tinting as a core daily task
- Assist with Graco/Titan spray equipment diagnostics and repair (training provided)
- Daily warehouse stocking, inventory, and store organization
- Order fulfillment, deliveries, and pickups
- Deliver a high standard of customer service — engaged,



approachable, and knowledgeable

Qualifications

- Proven ability to sell and close, ideally on higher-ticket items (retail, trades, or related sales experience)
- Comfortable with physical work — regular lifting of 50 lbs+, stocking, moving product
- Mechanical or trade aptitude a strong asset — willingness to learn equipment repair is essential
- An eye for color and product detail; formal design/paint background not required, but a plus
- Valid driver's license required
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English required — approximately 90% of our customer base in Markham communicates primarily in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, and this is essential to serving them well

Location: 8855 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON — in person

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
