Job Summary

Salary: $20.85 per hour. Overtime pay at 1.5 times employee’s regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends.

Schedule & Compensation

Tuesday to Saturday: 1pm to 7pm (30 hours per week)

Responsibilities

- Supervise & care for the child.
- Prepare formula and feed the child.
- Give the child a bath, change clothes and diapers.
- Prepare the child for naps and rest time.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; instruct child in personal hygiene; tend to the emotional well-being of child and support social development.
- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.

Qualifications

- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.




- Education: Secondary school plus CPR or First Aid.
- Language: English.
- Valuable communication and decision-making abilities are essential.
- Must be flexible.
