This full-time position requires dedication to assisting guests in our emergency shelters. You will be tasked with addressing diverse needs, ensuring a safe environment, and offering non-judgmental support. Key Responsibilities:
• Directly support individuals in emergency shelter environments • Facilitate a protected and inclusive atmosphere for all guests • Organize meal services and personal care items • Ensure guest vigilance and well-being throughout shifts • Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery
Requirements: • Relevant post-secondary education or experience necessary • Successful completion of Criminal and Child Abuse Checks • Standard First Aid/CPR Level “C” training required • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends • Empathy and understanding of marginalized populations
