Support adults with developmental disabilities in St. Leonard's Supported Independent Living program as a Relief Case Worker. This role involves crisis intervention, advocacy, and assessing clients' diverse needs.
As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide vital support services to help clients facing various challenges, including mental health and addiction issues. Your responsibilities include coordination with team members for client care and ensuring the community's safety. This position requires a versatile schedule, working during days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis intervention and support services • Assess clients’ skills related to their needs • Advocate for clients involved in criminal justice • Coordinate care with other team members • Ensure safety and security throughout shifts
Requirements: • University Degree or College Diploma preferred • 1-2 years’ experience in developmental support • First Aid & CPR certification required • Valid G class Driver’s License essential • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
