Make a difference as a Part time After School Program Inclusion Supervisor at the YMCA in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Support youth ages 13-21 in a creative and caring environment.
In this part-time role, you will oversee the daily operations of the program, acting as a role model to Inclusion Aides and the youth. Your leadership will facilitate engaging activities while building meaningful relationships with participants and staff. Shifts run Monday through Friday, from 2:45 PM to 5:45 PM on school days.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a safe and welcoming environment for youth with special needs
• Engage participants through fun, educational activities
• Supervise and guide Inclusion Aides and volunteers
• Communicate effectively with families and schools
• Travel to different program locations across Winnipeg
Requirements:
• Experience supervising staff or volunteers
• Background working with special needs youth
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification
• Clear Police Record Check and relevant certifications
Lead impactful activities and foster relationships to support youth in their journey.
