Your key responsibility as a Diesel Mechanic will be maintaining generator sets and auxiliary equipment, executing scheduled overhauls, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. You will participate in team meetings, collaborating to meet program objectives while upholding safety standards. Overseeing inspections at remote satellite plants is also part of the job.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct routine maintenance on diesel and gas generators • Troubleshoot mechanical problems in person and remotely • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations • Collaborate with other trades and offer training support • Complete scheduled inspections and maintenance reports

Requirements: • Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic certification • Five years of relevant mechanical experience • Valuable understanding of safety practices • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Valid Class 5 driver's license
