As a Nursing Unit Clerk, you will play a crucial role in coordinating staffing needs within AgeCare's Nursing Department. Your focus on maintaining a secure environment will benefit residents and colleagues alike. Exceptional communication skills are required to efficiently manage scheduling and report attendance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in daily staffing coordination and schedules
• Update the Master Schedule based on staffing changes
• Seek overtime work approval from the Director of Care
• Track and report attendance and absenteeism data
• Address recurrent absenteeism with management
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent needed
• Additional post-secondary education is an asset
• Strong English language skills required
• Possible need for current CPR certification
• Canadian work experience not necessary
