Work Hours: 30.00 hours per week

Wages: $20.00 CAD per hour

Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent

- Supervise children at all times to stay aware of their physical and emotional needs and to maintain their constant safety.
- Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and perform other related housekeeping duties.
- Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by parents.
- Maintain a protected and healthy environment in the home.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.




- Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
- Take children to and from school, appointments and after school activities.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
- Accompany children to the community center, library, park, and other places as required.
- Watches for any signs of behavioural or emotional problems in children and alerts parents to the problems.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Employment requirements

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience is required.
- First aid certification is required.
- Patience and love to work with kids
