We need a motivated individual who is passionate about teaching! As a Tutor at our Halifax location, you will assist students with their learning in subjects like advanced functions, physics, and biology. This in-person position involves interacting closely with students, tracking their progress, and offering personalized support, so a friendly demeanor is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tutoring support in small groups of up to three students
• Focus on advanced functions, algebra, and chemistry
• Record and communicate student progress effectively




• Display professionalism and encouragement throughout sessions
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to varying student levels
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
• Strong mathematical and scientific understanding
• Previous experience in tutoring or coaching high school subjects
• Excellent English communication skills
• Capable of multitasking with different learners
