We are hiring Excavator Operators at GNF Commercial Management Limited in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This full-time, permanent position is essential for our construction projects.

As an Excavator Operator, you will perform critical tasks including digging, trenching, and grading while ensuring site safety and efficiency. We seek candidates with experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong safety mindset, especially in challenging outdoor construction environments. Previous experience on residential or commercial sites is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:



• Operate excavators and similar heavy machinery • Perform inspections to ensure equipment safety standards • Maintain a secure and safe job site at all times • Aid site operations to streamline construction activities • Safely manage materials throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements: • Experience operating heavy machinery including excavators • Background in residential or commercial construction is preferred • Robust awareness of safety protocols and certifications • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work • Certifications such as WHMIS, Fall Protection, or First Aid a plus
