Employment Opportunity - PACY Student Leader

The Municipality of the District of Guysborough is hiring student leaders for the PACY after school program in both Canso (Fanning Education Centre) and Guysborough (CLC) . The PACY leaders will be required to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:30pm - 4:30pm, with additional shifts on Tuesday and Thursdays as required. This position may also require weekend and evening work. The start date is Monday, September 28, 2026 through to June 18th, 2027. The hourly rate for this position is $17.75.

General responsibilities will include overseeing the safety of the children, organizing and implementing age-appropriate indoor and outdoor games and activities to create an active and energetic learning environment that will support and include all children involved.





Applications will be accepted from students in grades 10, 11 and 12. Successful candidates must have: Standard First Aid and CPR, Criminal Record Check and a Child Abuse Registry Check. Previous experience working with children will be considered an asset.
