inserts and adjust offsets as required to maintain tolerancesComplete daily machine maintenanceCheck own parts against drawings in various stages of productionIdentify irregularities in parts and non conformance to quality standardsFollow all safety and ISO procedures and responsibilities accurately completing appropriate paperworkAssist with training of Machinist ApprenticePerform other tasks as assignedQualificationsMinimum three to five years work experience in a jobbing shop environment is an assetPrior experience with large horizontal or vertical boring mills or lathes and G-Code or Heidenhain CNC control an assetIntricate set up and programming skills are an assetMinimum experience rigging and machining parts that are 8 feet x 20 feet or larger and minimum 25 tons up to 70 tons in weight to qualify for higher end of wage offerInterpret manufacturing drawings.
