Become a critical member of Peel Region's health services as a Part time Dietary Aide focused on senior care. This onsite role emphasizes meal preparation and client assistance during hours from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
The Dietary Aide position at Peel Manor LTC entails supporting our residents with person-centered service and adherence to the Butterfly Philosophy of Care. Ideal candidates will possess a Food Service Worker Certificate and demonstrate the emotional intelligence necessary for effective interaction with residents. You will ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain orderly, providing residents with a pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare food and beverages based on menus
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas




• Serve meals during dining hours
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of meal services
• Maintain records of dietary needs as required
Requirements:
• High School diploma necessary
• Certification in Food Service Worker program
• Must complete Food Safety Certification within 30 days
• Preferred prior food service experience
• Must effectively communicate with residents and staff
