The QC Analyst will conduct tests to support Quality Control in the field of cosmetic production.This is a permanent full-time position based out of our Canmore, Alberta workshop working Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.What you'll be doingDesign and execute laboratory testing in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs), making sure to record observations and interpret findingsConduct regular testing on raw materials, in-process, finished product and packaging materialsMaintain a clean and organized laboratory workplace, adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles and implementing 5S practicesHandle, store, and track reagents, standards, and solutions properlyRegularly calibrate and maintain lab equipment (e.G., pH meters), recording all activities in logbooks in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDocP)Collect samples of raw materials, in-process,
and final products according to established proceduresMaintain a well-organized retention library for future reference and quality control purposesPerform environmental sampling and testing, collecting samples from the environment (e.G., RO water) for quality assessmentReview and file batch records, forms, and logbooks.
