This prospect places you at the intersection of telecommunications networks, power systems, and digital resilience, supporting modernization initiatives that strengthen the reliability, security, and performance of critical energy infrastructure.You will contribute to projects that enable grid digitalization, cybersecurity readiness, and long‑term operational resilience for power generation and distribution environments.ResponsibilitiesDeliver telecommunications and network engineering expertise for power generation and distribution systemsContribute to grid modernization and digital transformation programs across the energy sectorSupport the planning, design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of networked infrastructureTranslate technical solutions into clear, actionable insights for clients and senior stakeholdersParticipate in cybersecurity risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments for critical assetsReview technical designs and specifications from vendors and project partnersCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and operations teamsSupport client relationships and contribute to proposal development when requiredQualificationsDegree in telecommunications, networking, computer engineering, or a related disciplineA minimum of five years of experience in industrial telecommunications or network engineering, ideally within the energy or utilities sectorWorking knowledge of IEC 61850 digital substations, transmission and distribution automation,



and OT/IT network architecturesFamiliarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as NERC CIP, IEC 62443, NIST, or ISO 2700xExperience with industrial communication protocols (e.G., TCP/IP, DNP3, Modbus, OPC UA)Professional engineering designation (P.Eng.) or eligibility to obtain one is an assetBilingual French and English is considered an assetCompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 – $124,900DisclosureThe final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
