Position:Health & Safety InstructorEmployment: Part time Weekends (8 - 16 Hours/Week)Location: Calgary, ABSalary: $31.00 - 36.00 per hour, DOEAre you interested in a job that has both independence and a friendly, supportive team to work with - and where you can make a real, life-changing difference in people's lives? If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety professional who is passionate about construction or industrial safety training and keeping workers safe, this role is for you!This part-time hourly-based position will be delivering the Fall Protection course at our Calgary Training Centre, as well as other courses potentially including mobile equipment safety courses and more. The role reports to the Manager, Instructor-Led Training and working hours will be Saturdays (8am-4pm), some Sundays and the occasional weekday, if available.As a Health & Safety Instructor your key responsibilities are:Delivering engaging and informative Fall Protection training to job seekers, the general public and new and current members of the construction industryEvaluating participants through practical skills and written evaluationPotentially delivering other courses such as Forklift Training, Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Training and Confined Space Entry.Organizing, filing and submitting digital and hard copy participant records following trainingParticipating in team meetings and instructor development workshopsThe right candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:3+ years' experience delivering safety training, with preference for Fall Protection deliveryForklift,
