The HR Administrator will be leading the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate personnel records, updating and administering company policies, and providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees. This position also involves assisting with various ad hoc HR initiatives and administrative tasks as needed.ResponsibilitiesLead full-cycle recruitment, including job posting, sourcing candidates, and conducting interviews.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HRIS platforms.Support payroll processing, including data accuracy, PTO tracking, employee records coordination, and other related payroll duties.Ensure compliance with Canadian employment legislation and internal HR policies.Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, perks, programs, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.Provide guidance to employees and leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workplace issues.Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating Health & Safety programs and documentation.Participate in HR projects, including policy updates, process improvements, and HR system enhancements.Foster a positive,
collaborative culture while supporting organizational standards & values.Qualifications & ExperienceCanadian post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.1-3 years of HR experience; experience in a small to mid-size distribution company with multi-location operations is considered an asset.Experience using HRIS platforms, Microsoft 365, and public job boards.Robust working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment and effective interviewing techniques.Strong documentation and record-keeping skills with a high attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.CHRP designation (or currently working toward) is considered an asset.Additional InformationTypical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.Due to the nature of our business and products carried, candidates must be bondable with no criminal record.
