Elk Valley Resources invites Electrical Engineering students to apply for their co-op starting January 2027, available for 8 or 12 months. You'll play a critical role in troubleshooting electrical systems, generating job plans, and improving project efficiency in the Elk Valley of British Columbia. This on-site experience will allow you to apply your academic knowledge practically while collaborating with experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support electrical projects on mining equipment
• Implement health and safety policies




• Analyze electrical system failures and suggest improvements
• Manage tasks related to preventive maintenance
• Help design small-scale engineering projects
Requirements:
• Must be working towards an Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering
• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with Power Systems a plus
• Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred
