In this position, you will help create visually stunning scenes and collaborate with Art and Engineering to solve technical problems.RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with Art, Cinematic, and Technical Art teams to create industry-leading visuals across various environments.Craft compelling lighting that supports story, art direction, and gameplay objectives.Translate conceptual illustrations into real-time lighting visuals.Collaborate with Art and Technical Art teams to address technical challenges within constraints.Seek feedback and communicate effectively with Art Directors, Lighting Lead, Cinematic Director, and other departments.REQUIREMENTS:5+ years’ experience in video game or film production.A portfolio demonstrating solid understanding of lighting, composition, and color.Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5, Frostbite, Snowdrop,



or similar game engines (preferred).Knowledge of real-time lighting principles (dynamic lighting, sub-surface scattering, HDR, SSAO, SSGI, PBR), atmospherics, and post-processing.Understanding of how light, shadow, and color create tone and mood.Strong skills in compositional storytelling and cinematography.Background in photography, cinematography, and lighting is a plus.Ability to collaborate, share ideas, give and receive feedback.Effective time management skills.Salary Range:CAD $112,000 - $116,000 annually, depending on factors such as location, skills, education, and experience.Interested candidates are encouraged to share their resume [email protected] through this platform.
