The High Prairie School Division is seeking a part-time Educational Assistant to join the dedicated team at High Prairie Elementary School. This role involves aiding teachers in delivering educational and therapy programs, addressing students' physical and behavioral needs. Candidates should possess skills in early childhood training, robust communication, and experience in helping students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Individual Program Plans under teacher supervision
• Assist with student evaluations and maintain records
• Support students during large or small group activities




• Adapt classroom activities to meet students' capabilities
• Help maintain classroom discipline and assist on field trips
Requirements:
• Original Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Cover letter and resume with three references
• Early Childhood Training or Teacher Assistant Certificate preferred
• First Aid Training is an asset
• Experience with special needs students is beneficial
