As the largest school division in Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Public Schools aims to provide meaningful education to nearly 29,000 students. The Educational Assistant role is key in fostering independence for students with vision loss through braille and adjusted instructional materials. Applicants will contribute to a team that supports each student's Individualized Program Plan (IPP).

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide braille support for learning and communication • Work on individual educational goals in team settings • Prepare accessible materials for student use • Assist with personal and medical care needs • Supervise students during various school activities

Requirements: • Background in special education or similar fields preferred • Certification in braille from recognized institutions • Excellent interpersonal communication skills • Capability to manage physical assistance with students • Experience addressing challenging behaviors positively
