This part time role at CSFS offers you a chance to be a key player in improving health outcomes across Indigenous populations in Vanderhoof and surrounding areas. You’ll utilize your nursing expertise to conduct assessments, initiate care plans, and promote health education tailored to specific communities. Your advocacy will help navigate members through health challenges, fostering a deeper connection and impact within their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct emergency assessments and initiate nursing interventions
• Guide individual patients in setting health goals




• Document and evaluate care plans for clients
• Support community education efforts on health objectives
• Provide referrals when necessary to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Must possess Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses
• Proven experience in a clinical setting
• Certification in Basic Life Support, Level C
• Training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods
