Health and Safety Advisor

to join their team on a

part-time, temporary, as-needed basis in Timmins . The preferred candidate will have experience within the mining industry and a solid understanding of health and safety practices and procedures. They will be comfortable working in a part-time, as-needed role and capable of supporting operations within mining, construction, and industrial environments in Timmins. Qualifications and Requirements: Post-secondary education or training in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role Safety designations such as CRSP, CHSC, or NCSO, or currently working toward one (asset) Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) certification, First Aid, CPR, and AED (assets) Willing and able to travel to a remote mine site in Northern Ontario Key Responsibilities:



Conduct site inspections and recommend safety improvements Support supervisors in monitoring and maintaining safety compliance Contribute to the creation and maintenance of health and safety policies Ensure all activities comply with company policies and industry regulations Assist with or lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations Provide safety training and orientation to employees Conduct hazard and risk assessments Attend safety meetings and maintain required documentation Manage and monitor use of safety equipment and supplies Analyze safety data and recommend action where needed Perform related administrative tasks Participate in health and safety initiatives and projects Skills and Experience: Background in mining safety roles Strong reporting, documentation, and attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Self-motivated and capable of working independently Proficient with safety management systems and Microsoft Office NATT Group of Companies is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates of all backgrounds to apply.
