As an Engineering Graduate, you’ll contribute to meaningful municipal, private, and First Nation projects—supporting everything from roads and servicing to stormwater and wastewater systems.This role offers a strong local project focus in Owen Sound and surrounding areas, with opportunities to support projects across Northern Ontario and First Nation communities, broadening both your technical experience and community impact.Your ImpactSupport the design of municipal infrastructure including roads, water, wastewater, stormwater, grading, and site servicingContribute to concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering drawings and technical designsAssist with feasibility studies, stormwater management design, and engineering reportsPrepare design briefs and regulatory submissions (including MECP applications)Support construction cost estimates, quantities, specifications, and contract documentsParticipate in construction administration, shop drawing reviews, and field inspectionsAssist with quality control, budgeting, scheduling,



and record drawing preparationCollaborate with project managers and office leadership on day‑to‑day project deliveryThe Skills That Set You ApartBachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited Canadian university0–5 years of experience in land development or municipal engineeringFoundational understanding of road, site servicing, grading, drainage, and stormwater systemsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and its design capabilitiesFamiliarity or interest in OPSS, OPSD, and municipal design standardsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsComfortable working in office, hybrid, and field environmentsCompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 – $80,000Job InfoJob Identification 84491Posting Date 04/10/2026, 08:20 PMHealth & SafetyHealth and Safety is a core paramount value of WSP.
