The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is looking for dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to support the care plans for residents under the guidance of the Nurse Manager. In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, ensure resident safety, and uphold confidentiality. The position supports up to 22.25 hours per week, requiring flexibility for various shifts and on-call situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace for residents




• Observe and report changes in resident conditions
• Support residents' independence regarding medications
• Provide informal counseling to residents when needed
Requirements:
• PSW Certificate is mandatory
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with elderly care preferred
• Knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) is an asset
• Training in safety practices and mechanical lifts
