The Opportunity: As a Nurse at Pine Grove Correctional Centre, you will play a front-line role within the Health Services team, reporting to the Nurse Manager. You will be responsible to provide care that is safe, efficient, high-quality, and aligned with provincial standards and direction. Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess and address physical and mental health needs, including conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions to develop and implement effective care plans. Provide prompt and appropriate responses to medical and psychiatric emergencies, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Identify and evaluate potential safety risks to oneself and others, taking proactive and preventive measures to mitigate harm. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting both physical and mental health status. Promote preventative health measures and healthy lifestyle choices to support overall well-being. Establish and sustain professional, respectful relationships with a diverse client base, fostering trust and effective communication. Qualifications
