Registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA)Alberta: Food Safe Basic or equivalentBC: Registration with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker RegistryBC: Food Safe 1 (post July 29, 2013) or equivalentAble to communicate information in English both verbally and in writingStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal courteously and positively with residents/clients, resident’s family, visitors and team membersDemonstrates flexibility by changing routine to accommodate residents/clients needsRequirementsA current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.Prioritization NoteAll qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
