About Mecka AIMecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI.We design and operate global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems.We work closely with frontier robotics teams to bridge real‑world data, simulation, learning-based systems, and deployed hardware.The RoleWe’re hiring aMechanical Camera & Sensor Calibration Engineerto own Mecka’s entire calibration pipeline: camera intrinsics to IMU alignment to factory calibration infrastructure.This is a hands‑on, deeply practical role. You’ll work directly withcameras, IMUs, and multi‑sensor rigsto ensure our capture systems produce accurate, reliable data at scale.Your immediate task:deliver production-quality calibration values. From there, you’ll take full ownership of calibration pipeline process across Mecka’s hardware fleet.ResponsibilitiesImmediate PrioritiesDeliver accurateIMU and Camera calibration values (intrinsic and extrinsic)for production systemsAssess and improve current calibration workflowsOngoingOwn theentire calibration pipeline— camera intrinsics/extrinsics, IMU calibration, multi‑sensor alignmentEnsurefactory calibrationis performed properly, consistently, and on scheduleBuild and maintaincalibration infrastructure— tooling, fixtures, validation scripts, and documentationDevelop automated calibration verification and quality assurance systemsWork with hardware and embedded teams to ensure sensor mounting and alignment meet calibration requirementsDebug and resolve calibration‑related issues across deployed systemsWho You AreRequired SkillsPractical, hands‑on experience withcamera calibration(intrinsics,
