We are looking for a

Receptionist

to join our team at

Sunday Morning Resort

in Pyhätunturi, Finnish Lapland.

Our reception is at the heart of the resort, giving you the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of our daily operations. Whether you are just starting your career in hospitality, already have extensive experience in the industry, or bring valuable customer service skills from another field, we'd love to hear from you. We believe diverse backgrounds strengthen our team.

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for a wide range of guest service tasks. We look after our guests warmly at the front desk, by email, over the phone and through various booking channels.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

Check-in and check-out procedures for

Sunday Morning Resort

and

Parkside Pyhä

Managing accommodation and activity reservations, including ensuring bookings, restaurant reservations and activities are correctly arranged, preparing welcome letters, and recommending local experiences

Handling accommodation and activity payments, including advance payments and on-site payments

Selling additional services and making reservations

Managing OTA reservations, guest communication and upselling (Booking.com & Expedia Group)

Working closely with all resort departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Maintaining the presentation and sales of our small souvenir shop located at reception, as well as keeping the coffee station tidy

Covering the Concierge / Guest Relations role when required (a new position for the upcoming winter season), including lobby bar service and in-room deliveries

Assisting other departments when needed, for example with meeting services or housekeeping

Our reception team consists of

2–3 receptionists, a concierge and the Front Office Manager .

As we are a relatively compact resort,



reception shifts are generally worked independently outside the busiest peak periods. We therefore value people who work responsibly, stay calm under pressure and take ownership of the tasks at hand. Support is always available, and during your onboarding we will carefully introduce you to all reception and resort operations.

You will work closely with our management, sales, restaurant, housekeeping, activities and maintenance teams to ensure a consistently high level of service.

You will also work alongside our AI-powered assistant,

Butler AI , which supports part of our guest communication. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to help improve and train Butler AI to provide an even better guest experience.

We hope you have

Relevant education (for example in hospitality, tourism or hotel management) and/or previous experience in a similar role

Previous experience with hotel reservation systems is considered an advantage, but is not required. We are happy to train you. Our systems include

(accommodation),

(activities and transfers),

ResDiary

(restaurant reservations) and

Profitroom

(website and booking engine)

A warm and genuine customer service attitude

The ability to remain organised while providing attentive service in a fast‑paced environment where several things often happen simultaneously

Flexibility and strong problem‑solving skills

Fluent Finnish and English. Our guests come from all over the world, so additional language skills are always appreciated

Employment We are recruiting

two full time Receptionists

(37.5 hours/week, 112.5 hours/3 weeks).

The positions begin in

mid-November .

One contract runs approximately until the

end of February

The other runs approximately until

mid-March

Salary is based on the

Finnish Hospitality Industry Collective Agreement (MaRa TES)

and your final salary will be determined according to your experience and skills.
