There is no option to work remotely.Job Description – Essential Day to Day Duties & ResponsibilitiesVerifies that business booked is within hotel parameters.Closes the best opportunities based on market conditions and individual property needs.Executes operational aspects of business confirmed (e.G., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).Reviews and supports the work of the Sales Co‑Ordinator to ensure accuracy in proposals, contracts, and client communications.Assists Executive Team in planning of budgets and programs including advertising, public/media relations, database/direct marketing, sales promotions, event marketing, website, and collateral development.Works collaboratively with other departments (e.G., Room Division, Reservations and Front Office Team) to verify sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative.Acts as a liaison between the Sales Co‑Ordinator and other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of bookings.Performs creative, professional and effective site inspection tours to prospective clients.Effectively resolves guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process.Supports the resolution of escalated client or operational issues involving the Sales Co‑Ordinator.Transfers accurate, complete, and timely information to property in accordance with brand standards.Provides input for the weekly and monthly forecast.Assists in reviewing and validating sales reports and forecasts prepared by the Sales Co‑Ordinator.Understands and actively utilizes company marketing initiative/incentives to close on business.Effectively leverages other sales resources to achieve personal and team related revenue goals and comfortably entertains appropriate clients.Supports onboarding and training of recent sales team members as required.Possibility of business travel to represent professionally the hotel in the intent to convert and/or uncover sales leads.Implements an ongoing program for employee orientation, training and development.Ensures the Sales Coordinator is fully trained on systems, processes,
