Journeyman Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Tech

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in residential and/or commercial settings. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of refrigeration systems and codes, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- -Install, service, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems, including walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftop units, and air conditioning systems
- -Diagnose system issues and determine effective repair solutions
- -Perform system checks, pressure tests,



and leak detection Handle refrigerant charging, recovery, and system evacuations in accordance with regulations
- -Install and service compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
- -Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- -Provide professional customer service and clearly explain repairs or maintenance to clients
- -Follow all safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies

Required Qualifications:

- -Valid Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic/Technician certification
- -Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems, and related controls
- -Experience working with a variety of commercial and/or residential systems
- -Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- -Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- -Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- -Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
