- NOC Job Code/Title: 44101—Family Caregiver

Terms of employment: Full‑time position (30–40 hours per week). Versatile or split‑shift schedule required; weekend work may be required. Job start: October 16, 2026.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $21 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate changes for this field of work in Quebec.

Location: AuVe lives in the town of Amos, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood; school and parks are nearby. The city is located 600 km from Montreal, or a 7‑hour drive. It is a small rural town specializing in mining.

Responsibilities

- Help with the care of three children aged 15, 14, and 12, where the eldest and youngest have chronic illnesses.
- Supervise children when parents are not at home and accompany them to and from appointments.




- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children; kitchen clean‑up required.
- Perform general housework, including doing laundry and ironing.
- Dust rooms to ensure a clean environment.

Qualifications

- Must have completed at least the Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
- Must have at least one year of work‑related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training.
- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
