Whatever your area, no matter your grade, your unique skills and perspective will help drive change from operations to the C-suite, across a wide range of projects and channels.RVA is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Water team in a full-time permanent position.DutiesProviding project engineering and technical expertise, review of hydraulic calculations, analysis, and design services for various water/wastewater treatment facilitiesManaging of water/wastewater projects including scope, schedule, and budget as well as managing client relationshipsProviding senior review and professional authentication of memos, reports, drawings, and other engineering documentsPreparation of conceptual, preliminary and final process designs of:Wastewater Treatment PlantsPumping StationsEqualization tanksOutfallsLeading studies and Class EAs for water and wastewater projectsPreparing proposals and reportsLiaising with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies and utility companies and contractorsLeading and participating in Business Development initiativesPlanning projects, developing accurate scopes of work, project plans, schedules, and deliverables to execute high quality projects on time and on budgetMentoring and coaching project teams including technical and field staffSupervision of junior engineers, technologists,



and designers.Other duties as assigned and appropriate for this position.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringMust be licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) within the province of Ontario.15 plus years progressive experience in water and wastewater engineering with at least 10 years working in a consultancy.Demonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination.Proficient in the full range of design activities including preparation of studies, functional and detailed design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, construction administration and commissioning.Thorough knowledge of relevant Canadian federal and provincial regulations.Experienced in meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, business/client development and other skills appropriate to consulting.Proven, advanced level Excel skills and a proficiency with Microsoft Office.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsIn-depth understanding of business issues associated with consulting engineering and planning.Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutionsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and different stakeholders.BenefitsCompetitive compensation packages and performance-based bonusesHealth, paramedical, vision,
