- Prepare, cut, trim and portion beef, pork, lamb and poultry for retail sale
- Process whole cuts of meat into standard retail portions
- Remove bones and excess fat using manual cutting tools and power equipment
- Grind meats and prepare fresh meat products
- Weigh, label and package meat products for display and sale
- Ensure proper storage, rotation and handling of fresh and frozen meats
- Provide customer service and assist customers in selecting appropriate meat cuts
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards
- Monitor product quality and report inventory shortages

Education level: Secondary School Graduation Certificate

Required skills: Will train

Work hours: 40 hours per week

Wage: $19.50 per hour
