About The RoleDraganfly Innovations is seeking a UAS Field Engineer to support advanced unmanned systems testing, deployment, and operational integration across defense, public safety, and commercial environments. While this role is remote, regional proximity supports in‑person field operations, flight testing, customer engagements, and industry events.This is a remote role that requires 30–50% travel based on program and deployment needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute structured flight test campaigns for UAS platforms, payloads, and software systemsDevelop test plans, test cards, and data collection methodologies aligned with engineering objectivesIdentify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, reliability, and integration issues across aircraft, payloads, GCS, and communications systemsValidate fixes, updates, and new features in coordination with Product and Engineering teamsMaintain detailed test logs and deliver clear, actionable reports to inform product decisions and roadmap prioritiesSupport integration of third‑party payloads, sensors, and software solutionsContribute to SOPs, training materials, and operational documentation to improve system reliability and reduce operator cognitive loadPerform hands‑on field repairs and system adjustments to maintain mission readinessServe as the on‑site technical authority during deployments, demonstrations, and operational evaluationsSupport and lead customer‑facing demos, training events, and mission integration activitiesTranslate customer mission requirements into executable system configurations and workflowsTrain operators on system operation, mission planning,
