Your insights will help drive strategic decision-making while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.If you're looking for a role where you can make a measurable impact while growing your career with an expanding organization, this is an outstanding opportunity.The Role: Cost Accounting ManagerReporting to theDirector of Finance and Corporate Controller, you'll lead the company's manufacturing finance and costing activities while partnering closely with operational leaders to improve business performance.Key responsibilities include:Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to inventory, manufacturing costs, and cost of goods soldPreparing journal entries, account reconciliations,
accruals, and financial reporting schedulesMonitoring and reconciling inventory, Work-in-Process (WIP), and manufacturing transactionsMaintaining standard costs, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and costing data within the ERP systemAnalyzing manufacturing variances, including material, labour, overhead, scrap, waste, and yieldConducting inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical inventory supportPartnering with Production, Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to improve costing accuracy and operational performanceDeveloping profitability analyses, financial models, and scenario planning to support pricing, sourcing, and capital investment decisionsSupporting annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activitiesMonitoring financial performance against budget while providing meaningful variance analysisIdentifying opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting processes, ERP effectiveness, and operational efficiencySupporting internal and external audits while maintaining strong inventory and financial controlsWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related disciplineMinimum5 years of progressive manufacturing accounting experienceStrong background incost accounting, inventory accounting,
