Join ERM as a Principal Technical Consultant, Geologist, based in Toronto or Vancouver. Deliver expert resource estimation for minerals and tailings storage facilities while influencing future mining practices.
In this senior consulting role at ERM, you will lead complex resource estimation projects, ensuring high skilled standards and compliance with international reporting standards. Your work will impact both domestic and international mining projects, providing your geological expertise to help clients navigate challenging resource decisions. You'll also mentor technical professionals while fostering strategic relationships to expand ERM's presence in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Validate geological data and review QA/QC protocols
• Develop 3D geological models and conduct geostatistical analyses




• Prepare resource estimation reports aligning with CIM and JORC standards
• Conduct site visits and laboratory inspections globally
• Mentor technical teams to enhance their capabilities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or equivalent
• 6+ years in geological and mining environments
• Experience with precious and base minerals
• Advanced knowledge of resource estimation methods
• Driver's license for travel to client sites
