This Designer role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires a minimum of five years in drafting and design. You will collaborate across teams to develop designs that meet operational and safety standards. Prior experience in heavy construction, mining, or fabrication is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create preliminary and concept drawings for mine infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering for 'Best for Project' designs
• Produce 3D models and detailed drawings as needed
• Ensure designs comply with safety guidelines and regulations
• Maintain thorough documentation of design plans and revisions
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in Drafting and Design
• High School Diploma with post-secondary education preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related design software
• OACETT Registration considered an asset
• Must pass pre-employment testing
