Our mission is to provide support to people to ensure their quality of life in the community is meaningfully improved, promoting inclusion and independence.For more information about Community Living Mississauga, we invite you to visit our website at www.Clmiss.Ca.Description of PositionThe Volunteer Services Assistant will support the coordination and engagement of volunteers and students within our organization during the summer months. This role will enhance our ability to deliver programs and services by ensuring volunteers are recruited, scheduled, and supported effectively.Description of DutiesAssist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.Maintain accurate volunteer records and schedules using our volunteer management system.Support communication with volunteers, including email updates and reminders.Help organize volunteer appreciation.Provide administrative support to the Volunteer Services team, including filing, data entry,
and responding to inquiries.Contribute to special projects aimed at improving volunteer engagement and retention.QualificationsFinished High School and between the ages of 15 to 30Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection status.Legally entitled to work in Canada with a valid SIN.Solid organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Interest in community engagement and volunteerism.Additional InformationWhy Join our Team?Community Living Mississauga is a leader in providing support to people who have an intellectual disability.
