Elevate electronic assemblies with your expertise as an SMT Production Operator at Blackline Safety. Take on an afternoon shift focused on operating SMT machinery and ensuring high quality.
You will report to the Production Manager and set up, operate, and maintain SMT equipment. Visual inspections, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration with team members are at the core of your daily responsibilities. This role requires an understanding of SMT component packages and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and follow operational instructions and work orders
• Perform rework on SMT boards with defects
• Ensure quality products are delivered to downstream operations




• Assist other SMT operators as needed
• Conduct visual inspections for quality assurance
Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma; Technical Diploma preferred
• At least 2 years of SMT operator experience
• Robust understanding of SMT component packages
• Familiarity with IPC-610 standards for quality
• Moderate proficiency in data tracking using Excel and Word
