Riverstone RC is hiring a Maintenance Assistant who has a minimum of Grade 12 education and two or more years of relevant experience, preferably in health care settings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in physical plant maintenance which includes plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. Excellent communication skills and an interest in working with seniors are key for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize resident suites and common areas
• Prepare suites for recent residents and manage utilities
• Collect refuse and manage dirty laundry effectively
• Conduct general repairs and room renovations
• Ensure safety systems are maintained and effective
Requirements:
• At least Grade 12 education required
• Minimum of two years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
