As aCustodian/Janitoryou will be responsible for keeping buildings clean and orderly, and performing heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Cleaning the shower rooms, cleaning various trailers on site and doing the coffee services across the siteCollect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plansDust and damp mops floors following approved proceduresMove equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placementClean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces.Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, secure environment for patients, visitors, and staffSeek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the taskComplete all tasks assigned by supervisorStrip, scrub, buff and refinish floors, shampoo carpetQualifications:Previous commercial custodian/janitorial experienceWHMIS and BSW Certifications an assetGood command of English language, both verbal and writtenAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAble to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to perform all aspects of the jobPosition Requirements:Valid Driver's LicensePass a Drug & Alcohol TestShifts: 10hr/Day,
