- Analyze existing Cognos reports, packages, queries, prompts, calculations, filters, security requirements, and usage patterns to determine migration scope and complexity- Work with business stakeholders to confirm reporting requirements and identify redundant or low-value reports- Recommend opportunities for report consolidation, redesign, or retirement- Document report logic, data sources, field mappings, layouts, dependencies, and business rules- Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, paginated reports, and semantic models- Transform and validate data using SQL, Power Query, DAX, and approved enterprise data sources- Support user acceptance testing and reconcile results between Cognos and Power BI- Investigate variances and document testing outcomes- Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, governance, and platform teams- Ensure reports are secure, performant, maintainable, and aligned with target data architecture- Prepare report inventory updates, technical documentation, user guidance, and knowledge-transfer materials- Contribute to migration planning, backlog refinement, prioritization, status reporting, and issue/risk tracking- Support production deployment, post-implementation validation, and transition of migrated reports into ongoing supportRequirementsUndergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 7 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or developing large-scale reporting/analytics in enterprise analytics platforms such as Cognos, Tableau, Power BI,
