Fraser Health seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse for the CRESST team. Focus on delivering person-centered care and crisis intervention for clients in distress.
In this role, you will provide critical nursing services to clients experiencing acute psychiatric crises. Responsibilities include client assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring effective communication with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will guide clients towards recovery and safer coping strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stabilize clients during psychiatric crises using therapeutic methods
• Assess and document client mental health histories
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and therapists for coordinated care




• Facilitate hospital admissions for urgent psychiatric needs
• Monitor and evaluate client health conditions continually
Requirements:
• Current registration as an RN or RPN with BCCNM
• One year of relevant experience in mental health settings
• Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Class 5 BC Driver's License, access to personal vehicle
• Solid assessment and communication skills
