CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Process PlanningSalary: CAD $85,000 – $110,000 + BenefitsJob Type: Full time; On-site; Overtime paid after 44 hoursTypical Hours: Monday–Friday; 40–44 hours weeklyStartDate: ASAPSponsorship is not available; legal authorization to work in Canada is requiredCNC Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Process Planning DescriptionOur client in precision manufacturing is looking for a CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Mississauga, ON. You will turn complex customer drawings into practical manufacturing processes for components used in highly regulated applications. In this role, you will support projects from initial technical review through production release. Your work will include process planning, ERP documentation, tooling and work-holding development, production troubleshooting, and manufacturing improvements. You will receive structured knowledge transfer from experienced engineering leadership while providing technical guidance to junior engineers. To be considered, you must have an engineering degree, 3+ years of experience creating CNC manufacturing process plans for aerospace components, including defining the sequence of operations, machine setups, tooling, fixtures, inspection points, and production instructions.
This is an opportunity to join a growing operation and develop toward a future engineering leadership role.CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Process Planning ResponsibilitiesTranslate aerospace drawings and specifications into production-ready process plansDefine manufacturing sequences, setups, tooling, fixtures, inspection points and outside processesCreate ERP routings, work orders, instructions, operation sheets, and production-release recordsDevelop fixture and work-holding concepts using SolidWorksDevelop multi-step CNC machining plans for complex aerospace componentsTroubleshoot production issues and support corrective action investigationsImprove setup, cycle time, workflow, and process consistencySupport FAI documentation, cost estimates, manufacturability and compliance reviewsMaintain engineering drawings, models, revisions, and recordsCoach junior engineers on process planning and production problem-solvingCNC Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Process Planning Qualifications3+ years of CNC manufacturing process-planning experience requiredExperience defining machining sequences, setups, tooling, fixtures, and inspection points requiredExperience working within an AS9100 aerospace manufacturing environment requiredGD&T; and complex aerospace engineering drawing interpretation requiredERP/MRP routing and work-instruction experience requiredExposure to fixture or work-holding concept-design required#J-18808-Ljbffr
