The District of Saanich is seeking an Assistant Operations Worker in Public Works – Street Operations to perform skilled manual work supporting road maintenance, signs and markings. The role includes layout, preparation for road construction, curb, gutter, sidewalk and catch basin work, landscaping, asphalt paving and traffic-control tasks. You will operate equipment and participate in storm-response activities, with an emphasis on safety and outdoor, weather-dependent work.
