Position SummaryFanshawe College’s Student Accountability & Investigations Specialist works under the Manager of Student Accountability to maintain a safe, respectful campus environment by addressing non‑academic student misconduct and supporting restorative practices. This is a full‑time (37.5h/w) hybrid role based in London, Ontario with weekly on‑campus presence. Salary range: $80,478 – $120,360CAD.Posting closing date: June 16, 2026.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct impartial investigations of non‑academic student misconduct, including case assessment, evidence collection, interviews with complainants, respondents and witnesses, and report preparation.Apply relevant policies and legislation (Student Code of Conduct, FIPPA, sexual violence, human rights, etc.) to determine jurisdiction and investigative steps.Initiate or facilitate restorative or informal resolution processes, mediate conversations, develop agreements, and monitor compliance.Develop and deliver educational programming on conduct, rights, and expectations to students, faculty and staff.Maintain complete, confidential case records in line with privacy legislation and college policies.Collaborate with campus partners (Security, IT, Residence, Counselling, EDI, etc.) to coordinate investigative support and policy development.Provide consultation to leadership on safety concerns, policy interpretation, emerging trends, and contribute to policy improvement.Required QualificationsPost‑secondary degree in law, criminology, public administration, social sciences, or a related field; graduate degree (JD/LLB)
