$120,000 - $250,000 CAD + Bonus

Overview My client are seeking an Engineer with strong Linux experience and expertise within the Observability space.

The organisation uses a number of different tools to monitor their extensive estate.

The Role Observability: Working across monitoring and observability platforms within a trading environment.

Infrastructure Monitoring: Supporting and enhancing monitoring across a large scale estate.

Collaboration: Working with multiple technical teams to ensure visibility and reliability across systems.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring Tools: Working with tools such as VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Grafana, Vector, ELK and AlertManager.

Linux:



Operating within a Linux based workplace.

Automation: Utilising Python where required.

Version Control: Working with Git.

Container Environments: Supporting environments where Kubernetes understanding is advantageous.

Requirements

Observability: Strong experience within the Observability space.

Linux: Strong Linux experience.

Tools: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, Vector, ELK and AlertManager.

Programming: Python knowledge.

Version Control: Experience with Git.

Kubernetes: Understanding of Kubernetes is a distinct advantage.
